Where Have I Been

Hello superstar,

Abundant day! As a creative I often create my art within the silent boundaries of my own eyes. I bleed my pen until words no longer seem to feel real. They become foreign after looking at so many letters for eons. I read my content to those closest to me. Keeping it sacred while wondering if the world needs my craft more than I do. I am selfish with my writings.

For the past few years I've been experiencing burnout from curating shows, operating my day spa (Divinity Massage & Oasis Spa), creating 1000's of handmade products, pouring into countless others daily, enduring heart breaks, being the strong friend, sharpening my craft, being in the public eye, and just balancing so many other things! I decided to allow myself time to just be and to do only what was needed. I made the choice to choose rest over being overworked. However, I found myself falling back in and out of the overworked and underworked cycle. Feeling as if I needed to take a hiatus but didn't want to fade away from the art scene.

I allowed myself the chance to experience life differently! Allowed flow to take over. I am learning how not to want to dictate and control everything to make life feel less like a variable. I am healing behind the scene. I am present and developing life skills that will help me to be able to understand myself and others around me deeper! I'm experiencing what it means to authenticity grow into a more pure version of myself.

It's comical how the world is said to be a projection of our thoughts and external programming. However, we all experience it so vastly different, yet almost exactly the same! So many people can relate to one another! The most relatable being is often those that think no one understands them. However, when we make the effort to be understanding we then find a vast community of people that are just like us!

Through my journey, I've learned that people want to be heard, felt and understood. They want to connect. They want to be seen as who they truly are. They want to feel ease. Chaos is a state of mind that manifests from our traumas. A mental state that can live on and grow into a bigger monster in one's closet if they don't take the time to mend their inner being. All monsters have a weakness. All monsters are only scary until we see them for the actors that they really are. They want to be loved too.

I'm Sacred because I am chosen to do the healing work for the Earth. Because no matter what I go through, I grow through it. I'm a garden of love. A warrior learning how to be soft. A vocalist learning how to hear more than she speaks. A human reaching her most divine being. I am. I am. I am. I am honest and hopeful. Today I choose to express myself with words that hopefully can mend the mind of someone else. Today I heal onward! Today I love forward. Today I know I've done my very best throughout my life.
